||Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
||The Y is a powerful association of men, women, and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. That’s why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors in 10,000 to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
The Olympic Peninsula YMCA operates 3 branches: the YMCA of Port Angeles, the YMCA of Sequim and the YMCA of Jefferson County. Our branches in Port Angeles and Sequim are full-service YMCAs that provide an array of programs and services including, adult wellness programs; aquatic instruction and recreation; and Youth Development programs (after-school enrichment programs, Youth in Government, mentoring, summer camps and youth sports). Our Jefferson County branch is a program only branch offering primarily Youth Development programs, including after-school enrichment, mentoring, summer camps, and Summer Meals and Literacy. The Jefferson County Y also offers ESL classes for adults and adult wellness opportunities (Pickle Ball, Basketball and Volleyball)
