||To enrich the lives of adults through social, health and fitness activities, trips, educational classes, low-income housing opportunities, and referrals to community resources.
||Started in 1971 as Senior Citizens Center of Sequim, the organization has a rich history of service to seniors, providing a place to call their own and daily activities to stimulate the mind, body and spirit. Known today as Shipley Center, the tradition continues, as we encourage Friendship, Recreation and Education. Our Cafe and all of our activities are open to the public, with discounts for members, an informative monthly newsletter by mail or email, and additional benefits. Membership is $45 annually per person, and just $80 for two people living at the same address. Free memberships for low-income seniors are sponsored by the generosity of local donors, foundations and the City of Sequim.
Shipley Center values transparency, integrity, and open communication with its members and the community. Visit www.shipleycenter.org to read our latest newsletter, activity list and info on upcoming events.
