||Helping parents do an excellent job as their child's First Teacher.
||Our services and programs are a large portion of prevention services that distribute to the majority of families and those who have a responsibly to care for young children throughout Clallam County, universally and free to families. Through our programs, we help parents build knowledge of positive parenting skills and child development, build social connections, offer guidance for child successful learning, provide references to community services for concrete support, share information about adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and how to build resilience, provide guidance through educated and trained facilitators through brief, easy-to-read articles in the newsletters, in-person interactions at our First Teacher Family Time, and social media, plus allow parent competency and capability to grow with practical implementation at each free-to-participate opportunity.
