Introduction We are a two-generation family support center that focuses on supporting parents and their children using the "Protective Factors Framework." We assist parents facing multiple stressors in their lives so that they and their children have the opportunity to thrive! We provide free home visiting outreach programs, parent education and support programs, play groups, and safety focused support activities as well as infant case management and maternity support services.

Detailed Description Since 1972, First Step Family Support Center has provided free prevention-based education and support services to families in Clallam County. First Step provides innovative and family-centered educational programs that meet the needs of the parents and children that we serve. We believe that supporting parents is critical to the well-being of children as parents are their child's first teachers, protectors and their emotional home.
